How credits work
What a credit buys, what Available means, and the three buckets behind it.

Insightful runs on credits. Starting a participant interview spends credits from the workspace balance. Previewing an interview never spends any. Public prices and the credit table are on the pricing page.
What an interview costs
Cost depends on mode and target length. Text interviews cost 1, 2 or 3 credits (Short, Standard, Deep). Voice is one credit more at each length: 2, 3 or 4. The price is reserved when a participant starts, and charged when the interview finishes.
A Standard text interview is 2 credits; a Standard voice interview is 3. The trial grant is 30 credits, once per workspace and once per email address.
What Available means
On My Profile → Billing, Available is how many credits you can still spend on new interviews. It is subscription credits plus top-up credits, minus reserved credits.
The three buckets
The line under Available breaks the balance into three buckets:
Subscription is credits from the free trial or from a monthly plan. Unused subscription credits can roll over for a limited time, depending on the plan. Past the rollover cap, further monthly grants stop piling up until you spend some.
Top-up is credits you buy separately on the billing page. They never expire, and they are spent only after subscription credits are used.
Reserved is credits held for interviews that are in progress. They are not free to start another interview with. When the conversation finishes they are charged; if it is abandoned early with almost no answers, they are released back into Available.
80 subscription · 25 top-up · 3 reserved means Available is 102. Three credits are tied up in a live interview; the rest can start new ones.
