About

A conversation, not a form.

Insightful Chat runs customer interviews by voice or text, then turns each one into something a team can act on.

Why it exists

A survey can only record the answers you thought to offer. The useful part is usually the sentence after the tick box: why the price felt wrong, where the first week stalled, what they went back to. That sentence is a conversation. Insightful is built to have it, at the scale of a link rather than a calendar.

What it is

You write a brief the way you would brief a researcher. Insightful drafts a plan: topics, anything to show, questions worth asking as a number or a choice. Participants open one link. An AI interviewer talks with them, follows what they actually say, and stops when it has what the plan needs.

You get the transcript, a summary, a quality flag, quotes tied to the turn they came from, themes across the study, and up to four attributes filled in for every person. Attributes export as CSV. Asking a question across the transcripts is part of reading the results, not a separate product.

Who it is for

Product, research, customer success and growth teams use it when they need the reason behind a number: why someone churned, bought, or got stuck. These are AI-moderated customer interviews, run with the people you already have. You share one link by email, in the product, or as a QR code. Insightful Chat does not recruit participants.

How it treats the person on the other end

They do not need an app or an account. They can speak or type, switch whenever they like, replay a question, or ask for it to be put another way. They can stop. Anonymous studies label them P01, P02 and so on, with nothing tied to their name. The page they see wears your logo and your colour, so it is obvious who is listening.

Where it is built

Insightful is built in Australia. Questions about a study, a plan, or whether it fits what you are trying to learn go to support@insightful.chat or the contact page. We reply within one working day, Sydney time.
